Welcome to Better Places! We want to build a network of creative, collaborative and committed changemakers who understand that positive social impact contributes to thriving communities. 

The challenges facing people, places and planet are real. As a society we require rapid and widespread action, and we all have a role to play. Together, the best of our ideas, energy, resources and skills can create bold and sustainable change in the communities in which we work and live. 

Responsible businesses know that they can play an active and supportive role in building up their communities but often, unclear and misaligned relationships with charities and community groups can contribute to a lack of impact or a perception of failure. So, the wheel stops turning.

We’ve seen this happen many times, but we’ve also seen the opposite - and the huge potential that exists if we put the right support in place. And so begins the Better Places journey. We support business and communities to create the most effective partnerships that deliver the greatest impact, helping you to align your organisational objectives with your ambitions for society. 

We are Jen and Jonny and together, with over 20 years each, our experience spans charities, public services, local and national government, and business. We believe that every community can thrive when we all work together to create better places.
